The normal “It’s now safe to turn off your computer” screen flashed, but instead of shutting down, the system rebooted into a desktop that wasn't right. The taskbar was at the top. The Start button was a vertical slit. And the wallpaper… was his own basement. Leo slid the disc into his retro rig:
