I am not advocating that we throw away our study Bibles. I love my ESV Study Bible. I love Strong’s Concordance. I love the scholars who give us context.

It was unnerving.

We often treat Scripture like a patient on an operating table. We dissect it, analyze it, and label every organ. But sometimes, you have to stop dissecting the flower and just look at it. I am not advocating that we throw away our study Bibles
