Short answer: There is no native macOS version of Red Alert 2 . You cannot download a direct .dmg file and double-click it to play.
You can absolutely play it on your M1 Mac, but it requires a bit of "tuning up" (think of it as repairing a cracked chronosphere). Because RA2 was built for Windows 98/XP, you need an emulation layer.
