This study employed a qualitative approach, consisting of in-depth interviews with 30 mature women (ages 50-75) from diverse backgrounds. Participants were asked to share their experiences and perceptions of competition with peers.

The concept of competition among women is often viewed through the lens of societal expectations and norms.
