Alternatively, select “Power off” to shut down completely. If the device becomes unresponsive, press and hold the Power button for 10–15 seconds to force a reboot.
Introduction
Opening bootloader mode is merely the gateway. To actually unlock the bootloader (which is often the ultimate goal), you must connect the Moto G31 to a computer via USB and use the Android SDK Platform Tools. From a command prompt, the command fastboot oem get_unlock_data retrieves a unique code. This code must be submitted to Motorola’s official unlock website (motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com). After receiving an unlock key via email, the command fastboot oem unlock UNLOCK_KEY is issued. Only then does the bootloader become unlocked, allowing custom firmware installation. This final step is irreversible and should not be attempted unless the user has specific technical need. How to Open Bootloader Mode on MOTOROLA Moto G31
