Rohan laughed nervously. "Must be some hacker's joke." He clicked .

"You have completed the unauthorized experiential module. Payment is now satisfied."

Before Rohan could scream, a holographic heart appeared in the air before him, beating. Then, his own chest opened—painlessly, impossibly—and the hologram slipped inside.

He tried to move. His legs twitched.
