The speed readout on the cursor hit 360 kph. The grey artboard turned the color of wet tarmac at night. And the breathing glyph—the spiral—opened like an eye.

The artboard zoomed in by itself. Past the glyph outlines. Past the bezier curves. Down to the naked vector points, floating in the grey void. And between the points, Milo saw them: ghost anchors .
