Twenty-five years may have passed since its release, but listening to Christina Aguilera’s Mi Reflejo in true quality feels like tearing a veil off a masterpiece. While the English-speaking world was busy digesting Genie in a Bottle , the Latin market received something far more substantial: an album that refused to be a simple translation.
An original track (not a translation). This is where you hear the Mariachi influence clashing with Pop-R&B production. The FLAC version reveals the subtle golpe (the hit on the guitar soundboard) that is often lost in radio edits.
