⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)
Here’s a sample review for Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter Reborn on PC, written from the perspective of a player who enjoys hunting games and nostalgia-driven titles: A nostalgic blast from the past – but with rough edges
The game is short. With only a handful of maps and dinosaurs, you can see most of what it offers in a few hours. The AI can be derpy at times – dinosaurs getting stuck on trees or spinning in place breaks immersion. Also, no multiplayer or real progression system means replay value is limited to self-imposed challenges.
Some sound effects are recycled from older games, and the weapon balance feels off – the starter rifle is almost too weak, while the crossbow is overpowered once unlocked.
