As Rathi and Meera get closer, they realize Rudra isn't the monster. The real villain is (new character), a rising star who closed the missing persons case to protect a powerful politician's son. She decides to weaponize the curse to eliminate the city's most dangerous unpunished criminals, turning Adhuri Aas into a state-sanctioned ghost.

Suddenly, Babloo stops. His legs won't move. He looks down. His feet have fused into the concrete. He tries to pull, but his skin turns to stone.

Babloo's body begins to run… in place. Faster and faster. His bones crack. His breath becomes a wheeze. He is running on the spot, unable to stop, unable to move forward.

(laughing): "Pakda nahi jayega, Shinde! Meri ek aas hai—hamesha bhaagta rahoon!" (You won't catch me! My one wish—to keep running forever.) As Rathi and Meera get closer, they realize

(nervously) is chasing a pickpocket, Babloo . Babloo ducks into a dead-end alley.
